No matter where you live, as long as you have an internet connection, you can always make money online. In this post, i will be sharing some easy and legit ways to make your first 10 dollars online.

1. Create a Blog

Blogging is one of the oldest methods for making money online. People who love writing tend to start blogs with a niche focus. For example, a blog about procrastination, cars, dropshipping, toys, etc., is often a narrow enough focus so you can build a loyal following, but big enough that you can cover a lot of ground.

You can start a blog on various platforms, from Shopify (remove the checkout feature, so you don’t have to pay a subscription as you build it out) to WordPress. When you start your blog, focus on very specific keywords with a tight focus and continue to expand into other but relevant categories as you grow and dominate new spaces. This will allow you to build a massive blog over time. Remember that design is also important for making a good first impression on visitors. Here are 20 blog design inspirations to help you launch your blog.

There are several ways to make money blogging. You can add affiliate links in your posts (don’t forget a disclaimer). You can monetize with AdSense by placing ads strategically on your website. 2. Become a Consultant

I’m a firm believer that we’re all experts at something. Think about what your friends always come to you for advice on. With the Internet, it’s never been easier to get paid for that expertise. There are services online where you can post your expertise, assign an hourly rate and then people can find you and book a call with you on demand.

How to Do It:

  1. Go to Clarity.Fm and sign up for an account.
  2. Fill everything out on the site.
  3. If you have a blog or website, create a link or widget for your Clarity account and put it in your sidebar.
  4. Add a link on your about page and in the signature of your primary email address.
  5. Share on social media.

3. Affiliate marketing

This is a very reliable way to make money online. If you are good with marketing or you are a good sales person, you should consider this. If you have charisma and you are the type of person that is good with conversation, you should seriously think about affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is all about recommending products to people online, if they buy through you, you get a commission. It is that easy. All you need to do is find an affiliate network and join. Then pick products to promote. You can promote them on your Facebook, Instagram, any other social media or blog. .

So let’s imagine you promote a product that is worth N10, 000 with a commission of 20%. Now you have about 5000 friends on Facebook, 5000 on Twitter, 5000 on Instagram and some via your blog, WhatsApp and other social media networks. You promote the product to them and about 2000 of them purchase through your link. That means your total sales will be N10, 000 X 2000 = N20 million. And your commission which is 20% will be N4 million!.

The truth is, many people buy products online these days. You can key into it and make money via affiliate marketing. The most popular affiliate networks are: Commission Junction, Impact Radius, Linkshare, Jumia Affiliate and Konga Affiliate.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, but any of these can be applied immediately and help you to bring in a few extra bucks this month or start making money online as an entrepreneur.
